"We set out to create a passionate and engaging Christian community where people can be themselves as they learn, worship, and grow in the Christian faith." - Kyle Burrows, founding pastor

Lauren and I have been blessed to have been a part of several fantastic church communities that were changing lives and the world. When we moved from Michigan to Fayetteville in 2005, we found our church home one Sunday morning when we followed a flock of yellow signs that led us to Jack Britt High School to a new church called Crossroads UMC.

It did not take long for Lauren and I to fall in love with the people and vision of Crossroads. We could sense that God was doing awesome things in the midst of this community!

As we became more involved in the life of Crossroads, God kept calling us deeper into the life of the church. On New Year's Eve of 2011, I had what can only be described as a Holy moment. I knew that God was calling me to be a pastor. So in the Fall of 2011, I headed off to Duke Divinity School to begin my four years of seminary.

As I was leading a church in Sampson County and attending seminary, Crossroads Church continued to grow. They felt that God was calling them to start a second campus of Crossroads. So they prayed and waited for God to move…

...and God moved. Pastor Chad of Crossroads was contacted by the United Methodist Church in regards to acquiring a church building in north Fayetteville. After prayer and discernment, Crossroads knew that the building at 306 McArthur Rd. would become the home of Crossroads North.

The acquisition of the North building and the timeline for starting Crossroads North happened to line up with my graduation from Duke Divinity School. It seems that the most unlikely of scenarios was actually going to happen; Lauren and I were heading back to Fayetteville to start Crossroads North Church!

Starting in July of 2015, the Burrows family, along with a handful of other fantastic and faithful families from Crossroads UMC moved to north Fayetteville, to live out the vision of Crossroads North Church.

We are Crossroads North Church; a new church, striving to live and love like Jesus. That is our story...is this where your story begins?
